The skills and knowledge necessary to provide nursing care to patients in the health sector are covered in this qualification. This qualification ought to be supported by relevant competencies that relate to the various stages of life identified within the units using a lifespan approach. You must complete a Diploma of Nursing program accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) and approved as “an approved program of study” by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) in accordance with the Enrolled Nurse Accreditation Standards in order to be eligible to apply for registration as an enrolled nurse and to practice in Australia.
