Because it was one of the first universities in the United Kingdom to offer a nursing degree, the University of Edinburgh has a long history of preparing graduate nurses (since 1956). We offer continuing professional development courses as well as undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs. The four-year undergraduate program leads to a Bachelor of Nursing degree and an adult branch nursing license. Several postgraduate degree programs are available, ranging from taught MSc/Diplomas to PhDs.
