Adult nursing is a career that requires a lot of skill, is highly skilled, and is very rewarding. You will learn how to provide complex care to people who have multiple acute or chronic conditions, as well as how to provide health education to people from a wide range of backgrounds.

In an ever-changing and complex healthcare environment, the goal of this course is to train nurses to provide person-centered, safe, and effective care while collaborating with other professions and agencies.

You will learn through a wide range of methods and strategies in a variety of clinical settings. For 50% of the course, you will participate in clinical practice through independent and voluntary sector experience, as well as community and hospital placements.

Students participate in activities related to nursing during placements, such as providing care for a variety of patients that are relevant to their chosen nursing pathway.

Your career

• Graduates are eligible to become registered nurses with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) upon successful completion of the program. Graduates are prepared to apply for a variety of positions in the NHS, including leadership roles in management and research, collaboration with patients, clients, service users, and caregivers, and more.
