Through programs approved by the NMC at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and post-registration levels, the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Keele University encourages the personal and professional growth of each of our student nurses and midwives. Our friendly community of dedicated personal tutors, course leaders, clinical practice supervisors, and assessors, as well as professional staff, will be there for you every step of the way during your time here. Additionally, you will have access to our extensive simulation and clinical skills facilities, which will assist you in preparing for your placement.
The Darwin Building on Keele University’s campus and the Clinical Education Centre at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust serve as home bases for the School. We have developed close relationships with our clinical partners in the Midlands and North West and work diligently together to provide our students with the experience they need to become fully self-assured nurses or midwives.
STUDY AT THE SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY
- Keele University’s School of Nursing & Midwifery provides prospective nurses and midwives with a one-of-a-kind educational experience. Due to the relatively small number of students in each clinical specialty, you will get a lot of “hands-on” experience with patients in a variety of settings. Our student intake numbers ensure that you will receive individual attention. Throughout their education program, students will also have the opportunity to collaborate both practically and theoretically with healthcare professionals.
