In order to help us build a stronger workforce, we are providing scholarships and assistance to train and improve the next generation of nurses and midwives.
These new initiatives are intended to assist 17,000 nurses and midwives in obtaining employment and training in order to help meet the needs of the healthcare system now and in the future.
In order to ensure that Victorians have access to high-quality healthcare whenever and wherever they require it, these initiatives will increase workforce support for the development and retention of a supply of nurses and midwives.
