The United Kingdom produces Nursing Times, a website and monthly magazine for nurses. It includes daily news, opinions, and other information pertinent to the nursing profession as well as original nursing research and best practices for nurses at all stages of their careers.
The majority of articles on nursing news or clinical topics are published by Nursing Times, the largest nursing website outside of the United States. The first Nursing Times issue was released on May 6, 1905, and it was published by Macmillan and Co. Ltd. Since January 2017, the print edition of Nursing Times has been published every month. Prior to that, it was published weekly. Nursing Times underwent a major redesign in March 2009 in addition to the 2017 relaunch. Nearly 72,166 copies of Nursing Times were sold between July 2004 and July 2005. In 2008, the magazine was distributed to 30,923 individuals.
It was one of 13 titles that Metropolis International bought from Ascential (formerly Emap) in a £23.5 million cash deal that was announced on June 1, 2017.[3] Metropolis has kept the name emap for its B2B brands business, which includes Nursing Times.
The Nursing Times brand likewise creates a scope of occasions and meetings. These include the Nursing Times Awards, which are the most well-known awards, and the Student Nursing Times Awards, which are the only ones that solely honor nurse education.
