NWU Online Registration for First-Year Students (Class of 2024-2025)

First-year students for the academic year 2024-2025 can register online from January 25 to February 16. Additionally, an orientation program is scheduled from February 14 to February 26, 2024.

NWU Online Registration Procedures for South African Students

For South African students, the online registration procedure involves several steps:

• Access the registration portal at studies.nwu.ac.za.
• Log in using your student ID and password.
• Choose “Self-Registration” under the “Registration” tab.
• Select your qualification and proceed by clicking “Next.”
• Utilize the “Pre-requisite Test” and choose modules for registration.
• Complete the Online Faculty Registration Assistance for module selection.
• Provide accurate personal information under “Personal Information” (POPIA).
• Accept the terms of the contract under “Promise” for successful registration.
• Confirmation of successful registration will be displayed, followed by a proof of registration email to the provided address.

NWU Online Registration Procedures for International Students

International student registration follows specific conditions set by the Global Engagement Office. The process involves:

• Prior consultation with the Global Engagement Office is mandatory before registration.
• Communication with the office is through electronic means, requiring a detailed email with specified subject fields.
• Submission of necessary documents, including passport, visa, or permits, as well as medical insurance documentation.
• Maintenance of vaccination records, including MMR, meningitis, and yellow fever vaccinations if applicable.
• Adherence to visa application acceptance conditions.
