You can apply for an SRD award using the following methods:

An applicant must grant SASSA permission to verify his or her identity, residency, income, or social security benefits in order to access or have the application reconsidered for the Social Relief of Distress Grant.

The declaration and consent must be accepted by applicants as well.

It is not necessary to submit multiple applications. You’ll get a notification after the application is successfully submitted.

People who applied for the grant in the previous round must submit new applications.

Clients are welcome to reapply if they previously canceled the grant and want to revive it as a result of a change in circumstances.
