Technical and vocational education and training programs have a vocational or occupational focus, which implies that students enroll in these programs with the intention of pursuing a particular set of careers, employment prospects, or business ventures. Under certain conditions, certain students might be qualified for admission to a university of technology to pursue their studies at a higher level in the same subject of study that they were pursuing at the TVET College.

When will the Tvet Colleges results be published?

The April 2021 NATED Report 190/191: Engineering Studies N2N3 examinations conducted by the Department of Higher Education and Training has received approval from Umalusi, the Quality Council in General and Further Education and Training. At TVET and private colleges, engineering studies N2-N3 are offered.
The April 2021 NATED Report 190/191: Engineering Studies N2-N3 Examinations were held from April 1 through April 23, 2021, at 383 examination centers, according to the reports received from the DHET, for 124 417 entries in instructional offerings. A total of 51 720 candidates, including 26 986 (52,2%) at the N2 level and 24 734 (47,8%) at the N3 level, took the April 2021 Engineering Studies examinations, according to Umalusi. The educational offerings presented to the audience included 55 topics in total.
The Umalusi Council’s Executive Committee (EXCO) issued the following approval statement at its meeting on May 19, 2021: “Having studied all the evidence presented, the Executive Committee (EXCO) of Umalusi noted the challenges of non-submission of ICASS evidence by some centers and alleged isolated irregularities identified during monitoring of writing and marking of examinations.” However, EXCO is convinced that no systematic anomalies were identified that may have jeopardized the general legitimacy and integrity of the NATED Report 190/191 Engineering Studies N2-N3 tests administered by the Department of Higher Education and Training in April 2021. (DHET).
Based on available evidence that the examinations were given in compliance with the examination policies and norms, the Executive Committee of Council approves the release of the DHET April NATED Report 190/191: Engineering Studies N2-N3 examination results. When will the results of Tvet Colleges be released?
