Document requirements for registration:

During the registration period specified by your faculty, students utilizing assisted registration on the Stellenbosch campus must provide the original copies of the following documents:

Results of the NSC or IEB final school-leaving exams, released in 2020.
Candidates who obtained their National Senior Diploma in 2019 or earlier and plan to take the NSC or IEB.
Candidates from international school systems: School leaving certificates and university exemption certificates issued by the South African Matriculation Board.
Candidates with previous college experience: an original academic transcript or record, a good conduct certificate from the relevant university, and the document(s) mentioned in clause(s)(b) or (c) above. To be eligible for pre-registration, non-South African citizens must electronically submit additional supporting documentation to intpreregistration@sun.ac.za, ensuring that each document includes your student ID number. This documentation includes a certified copy of your most recent passport, proof of South African health insurance (for those with study visas), a certified copy of your most recent student visa, or proof of your permanent residence in South Africa. Additionally, evidence of payment is required, and any scholarships or bursaries must be approved by SU International’s financial administrators.
