This page holds details regarding the UNIZULU online application requirements for the academic year 2024-2025.
UNIZULU entry opening and closing dates
Applications for the class of 2024 are accepted beginning in May and will be accepted until the end of August.

UNIZULU application requirements:

  • Applicants must have completed grade 12 before applying. International and transfer students are welcome to apply.
  • Interested candidates can apply online or download an application form from the CAO website.
  • Please visit the Central Applications Office (CAO) website at www.cao.ac.za and click on
  • Identity A degree certificate or diploma must be documented (if available)
  • academic standing and conduct in relation to studies at other educational institutions
  • Proof of non-refundable application fee payment
  • Matriculation certificates/results

International students must also provide the following documentation:

  • – A valid passport and study permit; a SAQA verification certificate; and proof of financial means (bank statements, bursaries, cash available/cheque traveler’s information to the below-mentioned bank).

Applications can be submitted online.

  • Visit http://www.unizulu.ac.za to register for the system. making use of your email address and a password
  • Following that, you will receive an email containing a link to activate your account.
  • Click the link to activate your registration.
  • You will then be directed to ROSS, where you must select the Admission/Other pages (clicking the right button here is important)
  • Use the username and password you created in step one to log in.
  • Before submitting your application, accept the terms and conditions by clicking the button.
  • After submitting your application, you must pay the R100 application fee. The system provides you with several options.
  • Make certain that your application fee is paid through a bank.
  • If you pay your application fee at a bank, please email us the deposit slip with your application number in the subject line.
  • Once you have completed the preceding steps, your application will be processed, and you will be assigned a student number and login.
