• The Vaal University of Technology (VUT) administration has opened the student registration portal for new and continuing students to register for semester courses at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. Specific registration dates and deadlines, as well as the closure of the registration portal, have been established. It is best to register early to avoid losing your studentship at VUT, as late registration is not permitted.
• The registration deadline, also known as the closing date, is always a registration submission deadline set by the institution for registering courses and modules for the semester. South African schools (universities and colleges) typically have submission deadlines within two weeks to one month of the student registration portal being launched.

Documents Required For Application

• A legitimate email address
• A working phone number
• Applicants from South Africa will require an ID number. Foreign applicants’ passport numbers will be required.

• Please keep your application going if you are a new applicant. An application fee of R100.00 is required, as well as certified copies of your identity/passport document, Senior Certificate/National Senior Certificate, Proof of Payment for Administration Fee, and all other relevant documents. • Fill in your Identity(ID) Number in the Reference column. NB: Do not make any further payments using this account number.

VUT Online 2024-2025 Application Procedure

All admissions applications must be submitted online during the specified application period.

• Go to the VUT Online Application Portal by going to https://ienabler.vut.ac.za/pls/prodi03/w99pkg.mi login.
• Apply, Sign Up, Change your personal information, obtain academic and other information, and pay your bills.
• If you want to Apply, Register, Change Personal Information, Get Academic and Other Information, and Make Payments, go to the “Prospective Students” section and click the New Application link.
• Do you already have a student ID? Choose Yes or No.
• Select Yes or No if you are returning to complete the application.
• Read the applicable terms and conditions and decide whether or not to accept them.
• Fill in the necessary biographical and other information.
• Please continue with your application if you are a new applicant. A non-refundable application fee of R100.00 is required, as well as certified copies of your identity/passport document, Senior Certificate/National Senior Certificate, Proof of Payment for Administration Fee, and all other relevant documents. The administration fee can be paid in advance at ABSA BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER: 530861945, BROKER CODE: 632005.

Dates for VUT registration 2024-2025

• First-year registrations for all faculties begin on January 24, 2023, and end on January 29, 2023; returning student registrations begin on January 27, 2023, and end on February 5, 2023; classes begin on February 7, 2023.
