SANC Reference Deposit Bank Account Details

All payments should be deposited into the Reference Deposit Bank Account of the South African Nursing Council (SANC). This account has been set up specifically so that the bank can record the payer’s information and the reason for the payment, significantly shortening the time it takes to process payments.

The following are the details for the Reference Deposit Bank Account of the SANC:

Council Bank Details:

Bank Name: First National Bank
Branch Name: Corporate Core Banking – Pretoria
Branch Code: 253145
Account Name: S A Nursing Council No 2 Account
Account Number: 514 211 86 193
  • This account can be accessed via Internet banking, mobile banking, and ATM payments, in addition to in-person transactions at any FNB (First National Bank) branch. A payment beneficiary must be set up on your bank or credit card account for some of these. If you need help naming a beneficiary, please contact your own bank.
  • Please select the option to pay a business account for Standard Bank customers. You should enter “S A Nursing Council” as the beneficiary’s name when asked to do so; please put a space between the letters “S” and “A” otherwise you won’t see SANC’s information listed.
  • The ability of this reference deposit account to record the payers’ account number as well as a payment type code in the Reference details is its unique feature. When making a payment through FNB online banking or at any FNB branch, this information is checked for accuracy. The system at Standard Bank will only allow the account number to be captured.
  • The person making the payment is responsible for providing accurate information for all other forms of electronic payments.
