Getting Started with ACCA

• Depending on your prior academic credentials and age, there are different entry points into the ACCA qualification. minimum requirements for entry 3 advanced and 2 intermediate passes on the matriculation certificate.
• The syllabus is broken down into two levels (Fundamentals and Professional), each with sixteen examination papers intended to gauge candidates’ knowledge and comprehension of what it takes to work as Chartered Certified Accountants (a full copy of the syllabus is attached). At the Fundamental Level, Knowledge (F1 to F3) and Skills (F4 to F9) are divided into two modules, and at the Professional Level, Essentials (P1 to P3) and Options (P4 to P9) are split into two modules. Two of the four options papers must be chosen by the students. Students may also access the South African versions of the Law and Tax papers.
