This college is a result of the amalgamation of the former Durban Technical College, Swinton Road Technical College, Umlazi Technical College, as well as the inclusion of former Umbumbulu and Appelsbosch Colleges of Education. How to Apply
Certified copy of most recent school report/results statement / Grade 9 or higher / GET Certificate / ABET Level 4 Certificate / N1 / To meet the requirements for access, a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment is required.

- One ID size photo
Applicants will take a placement test before applying to the program of their choice. Every year in September, students must book in advance to take the placement test.
