How much is SRD grant now? 2024-2025

Following the organization’s fundraising efforts, certain Sassa social grant recipients may receive an increase in their monthly payments in October.

In October, the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) boosted social payments. The winners were overjoyed to find that the R350 SRD award had been renewed for another year.

The amount spent on South Africans receiving social assistance was just marginally greater.

The following social grants will be increased:

• From R1980 to R1990, older age (60-74 years old) will increase.
• Age (75+ years) will rise from R2000 to R2010.
• From R1980 to R1990, the number of war veterans will rise.
• From R1980 to R1990, disability will rise.
• From R1980 to R1990, care dependency will rise.

These Sassa awards have all been expanded by R10.

Since these assets were recently expanded by R20 in April, the Child care Award and Kid Backing Endlessly award In-Help have not been expanded.

Lindiwe Zulu, Pastor of Social Turn of events, has expressed that the Kid Backing Award (CSG) Top-up will be acquainted with helping stranded youngsters in the country.

Parental figures of stranded kids might apply for the CSG Top-up, which qualifies them for R480 in addition to an extra R240 consistently, for a sum of R720 per kid.
