- A nursing school in Cape Town, Western Cape, is Life College of Learning, also known as Cape Town Learning Centre. Life College of Learning also has seven additional learning centres spread out across the country. Springs, Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria, and Roodepoort are all home to additional learning centres.
Since 2008, Life College of Learning has been registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a Private Higher Education Institution. The South African Nursing College confers accreditation on the College as well.
The group founded the Life College of Learning in 1998, which is now known as the Cape Town Learning Centre.
Life College – Cape Town Learning Centre invites interested applicants to submit an application for the 2023 academic year. Prospectus applicants are invited to apply for the Life College – Cape Town Learning Centre.
As a result, Life College – Cape Town Learning Centre encourages prospective students to submit their applications early for the 2023 academic year via the application form (Hard-Copy).

- Proof of payment for the registration fee (required for SA and international applicants) A certified copy of your identification document (ID is required for SA citizens; your application cannot be processed without a certified copy of your ID) Exam Results: Final grades from 12 (if they are available) If you are currently in grade 12, your grade 11 results are very important for your application. Therefore, keep it on hand.

The Life College – Cape Town Learning Centre Admission Requirements are as outlined in the Application Procedure 2023:
You need: in order to enter the NVC at NQF Level 2:
- An approved bridging program designed specifically for the purpose of accessing NQF Level 2, a year-end report for grades 9, 10, 11, or 12, or a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the fundamental requirements for accessing NQF Level 2.
Full-Time Nated Courses
The application fee and class fees are due at registration—only for new students.
All new applications must include the following:
- A certified copy of the most recent school report, statement of results, or certificate for grades 12 or N3.
Six authenticated copies of the learner’s ID.
Two official copies of the parent or guardian’s ID.
One picture of the learner in the size of an ID.
The application cycle, which begins in April of each year, should be started as soon as possible.

Nursing courses offered:
- Certificate course leading to enrolment as an Auxiliary Nurse – R.2176 (phasing out, no new intakes)
- Certificate course leading to enrolment as Enrolled Nurse – R.2175 (phasing out, no new intakes)
- Diploma: Bridging Course for Enrolled Nurses leading to registration as a General nurse – R.683 (last intake 2017)
- Post Basic programmes for specialised training in areas such as intensive care, Operating Theatre, Trauma Nursing and Occupational Health
