Link To Apply For Nsfas 2024-2025: Are you a student thinking of the link you need to apply for a loan from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), With your computer, iPad, or any other smartphone connected to the internet, applicants can use the MyNsfas external link to apply for NSFAS loan. Applicants must take note of the application date also. The application will start on the 7th of November 2023 and close on the 21st of January 2024. Make sure you have all of your supporting documentation and that you are eligible to apply before applying online. Follow the steps below to get started:

 

Required Supporting Documents Needed To Apply NSFAS Online.

To complete your NSFAS Bursary Online Application for 2024-2025, you must have the following information:

  • You must have a phone number and an email address of your own.
  • A copy of your ID or birth certificate is required.
  • You should also provide copies of your parents’, guardians’, or spouse’s identification cards.
  • 1 year’s worth of IRP5 or proof of income (if applicable,)
  • Proof of income from your parents, guardians, or spouse
  • SASSA grant beneficiaries are not required to show proof of income.
  • All disabled applicants must present a completed and signed Disability Annexure. A Document
  • All applicants who have been identified by the Department of Social Development as Vulnerable Children must also submit a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form. Application Status for NSFAS

 

How to Apply for NSFAS Online Application

  1. Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
  2. Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
  3. Create a myNSFAS account. If you don’t know how to create, click HERE
  4. Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
  5. Update your personal information
  6. Answer the questions you see on the screen
  7. Upload all the required supporting documents
  8. Finally, you click on ‘submit

 

Who qualifies for the NSFAS Funding?

  • All South African citizens
  • All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
  • Applicants whose combined household income is not more than R350 000 per annum
  • A person with a disability: Combined household income must not be more than R600 000 per annum
  • Students who started studying before 2018 whose household income is not more than R122 000 per annum.
