Nsfas Application Link 2024-2025
Nsfas applicants can utilize the MyNsfas external link to log in and access essential information on the National Student Financial Aid Scheme website. If you already possess an account, sign in with your username and password or use your Facebook and Google accounts. Note that your phone number and email address must be unique and not shared.
Who qualifies for NSFAS funding?
- All South African citizens
- All SASSA grant recipients qualify for funding
- Applicants with a combined household income not exceeding R350,000 per annum
- Individuals with disabilities, with a combined household income not exceeding R600,000 per annum
- Students who commenced studies before 2018, with a household income not exceeding R122,000 per annum
Required Supporting Documents During the Application Process
NSFAS requires specific documents to process your application successfully. Ensure you provide the following:
- Your unique cellphone number and email address
- Copy of your ID or birth certificate
- National ID copies of parents, guardians, or spouse
- Evidence of income or 1 year’s IRP5 if necessary
- Proof of income for parents, guardians, or spouse
- SASSA grant recipients exempt from providing income evidence
- Completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form for applicants with disabilities
- Completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form for identified Vulnerable Children
How to Apply for NSFAS Online Application (when opened)
- Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
- Click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab
- Create a myNSFAS account (Click HERE if you don’t know how to create one)
- Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
- Update personal information and answer on-screen questions
- Upload all required supporting documents
- Click ‘submit’ to complete the application
How to Check NSFAS Application Status
- Visit NSFAS Status website: www.nsfas.org.za
- Log in to myNSFAS account or create one if needed (Click HERE)
- Enter User ID and password created during the application
- Click “Track Funding Progress” to check NSFAS Application Status.
