  • Students who have finished another program or a higher certificate and want to continue their undergraduate studies

ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR UMPS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MPUMALANGA FOR 2024 AND 2025

You will need the following materials to apply for registration at the University of Mpumalanga UMP Online Registration:

  • An active email address
  • Your South African identification number
  • International students need a passport.

UMP ONLINE Registration STEP BY STEP PROCESS

Note: Before you start, make sure you have electronic copies to upload (acceptable file types/formats include: pdf, doc, Docx, tiff, PNG, jpg, jpeg):

  • certified copies of your identification, senior certificate or national senior certificate, and all other relevant documents
  • proof of the R150 (for applicants from the RSA/SADC), R350 (for applicants from other African countries), and R500 (for applicants from outside of Africa) non-refundable application fee.

HOW DO I APPLY?

  • Step 1: To apply, click here, agree to the application guidelines, and then select “proceed.”
  • Step 2: To continue with your application, enter your biographical data and click “next.”
  • Step 3: Write down the results’ specifics, add subjects, and press “next”;
  • Step 4: Complete the information for the academic institution and press “next.”
  • Step 5: Select two options or programs to apply for in the academic application form, then click “add a qualification” and “next.”
  • Step 6: Review the details of your application before pressing “Continue.”
  • Step 7: Type in your five-digit PIN, such as 24689, check the “I accept” box twice, and then click “Submit Application.”
  • Step 8: Select “yes” from the dropdown list if all of your documents are ready to be uploaded, and then click “next” to continue.
  • Step 9: Select the appropriate document by clicking “save,” then click “Load/View Document,” “Document Upload,” “Choose/Browse File,” and select the folder where your documents are stored;
  • Step 10: After all of your papers have been uploaded, click “complete upload.”
  • Step 11: Confirmation and Application Closure Page
