My Nsfas status 2024-2025
My NSFAS Application Status 2024-2025: Applying for NSFAS for the 2023 academic year is a straightforward process, but waiting to hear back can be a bit anxious. You may be eager to know whether your application was successful or not. The process through which NSFAS applicants can track the progress of their application is known as My NSFAS application status check. All South African university and college students who meet the necessary requirements are eligible to apply for NSFAS funding. Currently, NSFAS is accepting applications for the year 2024-2025, so all interested individuals are encouraged to apply online now.
How to view/check your NSFAS online application status:
- Log in to your myNSFAS account portal.
- Provide your ID or username and password.
- Click the “SIGN IN!” button.
- Once you access your account dashboard, click on “Track Funding Progress” to check your application status.
- If your application has been successful, congratulations! If not, better luck next time.
Who qualifies for NSFAS funding?
- All South African citizens
- All SASSA grant recipients are eligible for funding
- Applicants with a combined household income not exceeding R350,000 per annum
- Individuals with disabilities, where the combined household income must not exceed R600,000 per annum
- Students who commenced their studies before 2018 and have a household income of no more than R122,000 per annum.
How to create your myNSFAS account:
- Visit www.nsfas.org.za and click on “myNSFAS account.”
- Enter your username and password, with the username typically being your email address.
- Access the “My personal details” tab.
- Update your current cellphone number and/or email address.
- Click “Update your details” to proceed.
- An OTP (One Time Pin) will be sent to the new number and email address provided.
- Enter the OTP and click submit.
- Your details will be immediately updated.
If you’re an applicant with an existing account, you can sign in using your username and password or your Facebook and Google accounts.
