If your Sassa social relief grant appeal was denied, you have the right to appeal the decision. This procedure will begin when you submit a written notice of appeal to SASSA within 30 days of receiving notification that your application has been denied.

You will then be required to appear in person at the SASSA office to explain why you believe SASSA’s decision was incorrect. Alternatively, you can hire a specialist in this field to represent you during this process.

  • Step 1: To access the appeals portal, click on the message “click here to lodge an appeal or check appeal status.”
