Most students enroll in a TVET institution in order to pursue a career in a particular profession or career that is connected to their skills.
In order to enroll in a TVET college, you must:
- having reached the age of sixteen
- possess an ABET level 4 certificate or a grade 9 qualification
Although a grade 9 pass is the absolute minimum qualification for enrollment, certain courses do demand that you have earned a matriculation certificate.
If you prefer practical work to theory, TVET college courses are best. However, some courses combine both practical and academic instruction.
