To ensure that your application is considered, please submit it within the application cycle before the closing date. Applications are accepted from March to September each year.

applicants’ cost for the NWU online application

It is free for South African applicants; however, there is an R 550.00 non-refundable application fee due at the time of application for applicants from other countries (for online applications). Please upload the deposit slip, along with the rest of the required paperwork, and deposit using the bank information provided below. The application fee is available.

Undergraduate students

Please submit the following supporting documents in order for us to evaluate your application. The University reserves the right to reject any application that is incomplete:

You must also submit a copy of your matric diploma if you have already completed grade 12 or grade 11 (final results only).
Applicants who are currently working on improving their grade 12 results will be considered only after the NWU receives the improved results.
A certificate of exemption from the USAF is required for applicants who pursue the Cambridge, GED, or any other non-NSC curriculum, or who may be exempt due to older age or post-school credentials.
