Varsity College at the Independent Institute of Education is an educational brand (The IIE). The IIE is the most accredited private higher education provider in South Africa and is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training.

Qualifications

Varsity College at The IIE offers postgraduate and undergraduate IIE degrees, diplomas, higher certificates, and short learning programs. In the educational space, emphasis is placed on small lecture groups, interactive lectures, and modern technology. Campuses

Varsity College of the IIE has campuses in Cape Town, Durban (North and Westville), Pretoria, Waterfall-Midrand, Sandton, Pietermaritzburg, and Port Elizabeth.

Organization

Louise Wiseman, the Managing Director of The IIE’s Varsity College, is in charge of the college’s administration. The academic departments of IIE’s Varsity College are organized into Schools of Excellence, each with its own dean. At the campus level, program managers manage the programs.
ADvTECH’s academic leadership and governance system includes the AAC and Senate. The ADvTECH Board, Senate, and IIE get academic input from the AAC, which is comprised of external luminaries in education and business. The Senate is directly or indirectly responsible for the framework and content of all programs, teaching and learning, libraries, research, and student behaviour.
