Qualifications Needed To Enter Into Tvet Colleges
For entry into Business Management, you require:
- Grade 12 Certificate; or
- Equivalent qualification.
For entry into the Mechanical Engineering N3, you require:
- Grade 12; or
- Equivalent qualification.
A student must take the following classes in order to achieve a Nated National Certificate (Business Management).
- Introductory Accounting N4
- Management Communication N4
- Financial Accounting N4 and N5
- Sales Management N5 and N6
- Computer Practice N4, N5 and N6
- Entrepreneurship and Business Management N4, N5 and N6
You will be given an N4 certificate once you have completed the National N4 Certificate course.
The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations and the Department of Higher Education and Training both grant this qualification.
National N5 Certificate
- You will be awarded an N5 National Certificate once you have finished and passed the National N5 Certificate course.
- The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations and the Department of Higher Education and Training jointly grant this certificate.
National N6 Certificate
- N6 is the final level of National Certificate qualifications. After passing and completing this last course, you will be awarded an N6 National Certificate by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations and the Department of Higher Education and Training.
How To Apply To A Tvet College
- All applicants must submit an application fee ( The application fee is stated on the application form)

- The applicant should confirm his eligibility for the course before submitting his application.
- Everyone who applies must be at least 18 years old and present a legitimate ID.
- The results or credentials of applicants must be shown in original form or certified copies.
