There are six TVET colleges in and around Johannesburg, including the following:

Central Johannesburg TVET College

• Through adaptable education and training interventions, Central Johannesburg TVET College seeks to connect its students with employment and entrepreneurial opportunities that support economic growth. There are six campuses of the college, each of which offers a range of classes, including NC(V) and NATED courses.

Ekurhuleni East TVET College

• The goal of Ekurhuleni East TVET College is to empower and prepare its students for the workforce and independent work. It aims to develop a positive learning environment that satisfies the students’ expectations for education, training, and development. Students can choose from a variety of courses.

Ekurhuleni West TVET College

• Ekurhuleni West College strives to provide its students with the knowledge and skills required for employment or self-employment. The college has several campuses with the goal of ensuring lifelong learning and development for its students. In addition to NSFAS, bursaries are given to deserving students who have excelled in previous semesters.

Sedibeng TVET College

• The goal of Sedibeng TVET College is to be the top TVET College for offering reasonably priced training and education. Within the TVET sector, it seeks to have its employees offer degrees that satisfy the demands and expectations of business, industry, and the general public.

South West Gauteng TVET College

• The NQF Levels 2 to 4 and N4 to N6 are covered by the education and training programs offered by South West Gauteng TVET College. Students have access to both online learning and distance learning. Even though Grade 9 is the minimum requirement for those interested in Business Studies, Engineering Studies, or Utility Studies, it is preferred that they have completed Grades 11 or 12.

Western TVET College

• Western TVET College strives to provide high-quality education and training that benefits both students and the community. The college offers a variety of courses, including public adult learning centers for students wishing to complete AET levels 1, 2, 3, and 4. (NQF Level 1).
