The Zwelitsha Campus is located in Zwelitsha, about 5 kilometers outside of King William’s Town. It is well-known for its Engineering Programs, which include mechanics, carpentry, and building. This college attracts both male and female students and includes specialized modern workshops, machinery, and amenities.
For providing the program, the campus boasts some of the best-trained craftspeople. Another highlight of the property is the existence of a mechanics trade exam center. The Lovedale TVET Motor Mechanic Trade Test Centre has provided a welcome alternative for ambitious motor mechanics who previously had to travel long distances to complete their trade tests. This MERSETA-accredited trade exam center is situated in the Eastern Cape’s eastern region. It is possible to do so on the Zwelitsha Campus.

Requirements

Section 13 Trade Test (Competency-Based Modular Training)
Must be registered as an apprentice
Must have completed and passed all theoretical modules

Section 28 Trade Test

Recognition of prior learning
Relevant practical experience
Pre-trade test training is available on request.
