How to Complete and Sign Your NSFAS Bursary Contract (NBA)
When you register;
- You will receive an email containing a link to complete the online sign-up process.
- To access the online portal, simply click the provided link.
- After entering your ID number, you will receive a One Time Pin (OTP) via SMS on your registered cellphone number.
- To proceed with the agreement signing, enter the OTP you’ve received.
- Complete the registration for the NBA online.
- Once finished, you’ll observe that the Terms and Conditions have been submitted.
This signifies that you have effectively endorsed your NSFAS bursary agreement. If you are below 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian should sign on your behalf.
How To Change NSFAS Account Details?
How to modify your National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) account:
- First, visit the MyNSFAS student portal
- To log in, enter your username and password, then click on “Sign In.” Once you’re logged in, go to “My Personal Details.” Remove any incorrect or outdated information and replace it with the accurate and up-to-date details. Finally, click on “Update Your Details” to save the changes you’ve made to your login information.
How to Apply for NSFAS Online Application
- Visit the NSFAS Application website: www.nsfas.org.za
- Then, you click on the ‘myNSFAS’ tab

- Click on the ‘APPLY’ tab
- Update your personal information
- Answer the questions you see on the screen
- Upload all the required supporting documents
- Finally, you click on ‘submit
