To apply for admission to the university’s undergraduate or graduate programs, you are required to use the Sol Plaatje University online application page. Currently, applications are open for new students, current students seeking a change in qualification or specialization, and those wanting to switch to a new specialization at Sol Plaatje University. This includes individuals who previously applied for admission without success, were admitted but did not register, and those who completed a higher certificate or another program and wish to pursue further undergraduate studies.

Registration for students enrolling for the first time in 2024
- In 2024, Sol Plaatje University (SPU) will hold an on-campus registration for first-year students.
- IMPORTANT: Students who are enrolling for the first time and were unable to register in February may now do so in February 2024 during the Late Registration Week.
- Registration will take place in the Central Campus’ Applied Sciences Building C006, which has an entrance on Bishops Avenue.
All first-year students are required to:
- Visit the university if you need assistance with the registration process. This will be done online at the Applied Sciences Computer Labs C006 on the Central Campus.
- Observe the deadlines stated in the Schedule for Online Registration found above.
