• Tshwane University of Technology, TUT, has opened an admission portal for students interested in pursuing programs at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels at the institution. Admission registration and the closure of the admission portal have specific dates and deadlines. Because of the limited admission slots available at TUT, it is best to apply early, as late entry is not permitted.
• The application deadline or closing date is always a timeline set by the institution for application submission for admission into any course of interest. Every year, the submission deadline for South African schools (universities and colleges) falls between August and October.
• As a result, before proceeding with the application, applicants are expected to meet the University’s minimum admission requirements and admission point score.

• All applicants must pay an R 120.00 non-refundable application fee (for online applications). Please deposit using the following bank details and upload the deposit slip along with the rest of your required documents.

• To complete the application, you must have an email address.
• South African applicants will require an identification number. Foreign applicants will be required to provide their passport numbers.
• All applicants must pay an R80 non-refundable application fee.
• You must upload your deposit slip along with the other required documents.

Results and documentation submission

• You must make certain that your most recent set of results is submitted. Failure to do so may cause delays in your application process. All documents attached must be certified copies of the originals.

Dates for TUT application

• This academic year’s Tshwane University of Technology Online Application opens on April 1 and closes on September 30. As a result, the college encourages prospective students to apply as soon as possible for the 2024 academic year online via the application form (Hard-Copy).

• On the top right corner of the screen, click ‘Apply Now.’
• Choose whether or not you have a student number (If this is your first time applying you will not have a student number yet)
• Choose whether you are returning to finish an application.
• Choose whether you have a Qualification Specific Token (this token was only given to specific students to show them a pre-defined list of qualifications)
• To the consent form, click ‘I Accept.’
• Stick to the instructions provided throughout the application.
