Most of these students want to complete their matriculation later so they can apply for particular positions, institutions of higher learning, or colleges. There are now numerous other options besides going back to high school to retake their senior year.

Students receive instruction and preparation for a specific set of jobs, employment opportunities, or entrepreneurial opportunities at Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges, which are academic institutions. After obtaining a qualification at a TVET College, students may be qualified for admission to a University of Technology to continue their studies at a higher level in the same field of study.
There is typically no age restriction when it comes to the opportunity to complete matric at TVET Colleges for those who have completed Grade 9. Levels 2, 3, and 4 of the National Vocational Certificate (NCV), which correspond to Grades 10, 11, and 12, are offered.
Therefore, all that is required to complete matric is to obtain an NCV Level 4, which is academically equivalent to a Matric Certificate, from a TVET college.
However, an NCV qualification places its emphasis on technical skills.
You cannot switch out one subject for another during normal registration for Matric retakes, which is restricted to subjects that students have previously failed or completed and wish to improve.
The student would need to contact the appropriate TVET College in this case and inquire about options for retaking matric. Some TVET colleges even offer the chance to retake Matric in either a part-time or full-time setting.
