VUT has accommodations and campuses for all students.
A student who has been admitted to live on campus cannot automatically demand that a particular room in a particular residence be assigned to them. The university has the right to assign a student a room.
The following must be considered when assigning rooms:
- First-year students will preferably be assigned to residences on campus, where they will be given double rooms. If professional advice, such as that provided by doctors and/or counselors, points in the opposite direction, that advice will be taken into consideration when choosing rooms.
- Graduate and postgraduate students should ideally receive single rooms.

Is there lodging at VUT?
- Students are unable to select their own residence because the university will assign one depending on their application. Postgraduates and graduates will be allotted to single rooms, while first-year students will be assigned to double rooms. There is also off-campus student accommodation that is accredited.
