This post has information on DUT Online application fee 2024-2025 for applicants.

• Application and registration fees for Durban University of Technology (DUT): 2024/2025. The amount payable as application and registration fees for undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, professional, and diploma programs for the new academic session has been released by the institution’s authority.

DUT Application fees

• All South African applicants must pay an R220 application fee.
• International applicants will be charged R250.

Applicants who submit their application after the 31st of October must pay a late application fee of:

• R400 (South Africans)
• R500 (International)

Minimum 2024 First Registration Installment

The First Payment (Non-Residence Students)

On the day of registration, the following first installment is required:

• 1.3.1 Tuition Only for Annual Students: R 4 400.00
• 1.3.2 Tuition Only for Semester Students: R 2 700.00 (Please keep in mind that this fee only applies to students who only need to register for one semester, typically those with only one semester left to complete a qualification.) Students enrolled in a program that offers modules in both Semester 1 and Semester 2 in the same year must register for both semesters at the start of the year and will be charged the Annual First Installment (R4 400.00).

The First Payment (Residence Students)

On the day of registration, the following first installment is required:

• 1.3.3 Annual Students – Tuition and Living Expenses: R 8 970.00
• 1.3.4 Semester Students – Tuition and Living Expenses: R 5 500.00 (Please keep in mind that this fee only applies to students who only need to register for one semester, typically those with only one semester left to complete a qualification.) Students enrolled in a program that offers modules in both Semester 1 and Semester 2 in the same year must register for both semesters at the start of the year and will be charged the Annual First Installment (R8 970.00).

NB: Single registration students (those registering for both the first and second semesters at the start of the year) will be charged the annual first installment.

Form of application

• The application must be made using the application forms (available from the International School Office or downloaded from the website: www.dut.ac.za), and all applications must be accompanied by a non-refundable application fee. The early bird deadline for applications is February 22; the late deadline is April 25.
