• The vocational, occupational, and artisan education and training given by TVET Colleges is known as technical and technical education and training (TVET). Post-secondary education and training is another title for this type of education and training.
• There are fifty registered and certified public TVET colleges in South Africa, with 364 campuses spread across the country’s rural and urban areas.
• The Continuing Education and Training Act 16 of 2006 establishes and operates public TVET Colleges under the Department of Higher Education and Training, referring to education and training that takes place after leaving school, even if only with a Grade 9 diploma.
