NSFAS Authorization 2024-2025: NSFAS requires sensitive data from institutions regarding the employment status and income level of the applicant’s parents or guardians. NSFAS is dedicated to safeguarding the privacy of individuals who provide personal information to NSFAS. By signing this document, you and your parents/guardians grant NSFAS permission to utilize and authenticate the information you provide. The NSFAS consent form is a record containing confidential details about the employment status and income level of the applicants’ parents or guardians as provided by the institution.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE NSFAS CONSENT FORM
- Provide us with your phone number and email address.
- A copy of your ID or birth certificate is required.
- Copies of parents’, guardians’, or spouse’s national identification cards
- If necessary, proof of income or a year’s worth of IRP5
- Your parents’, guardians’, or spouse’s proof of income.
- You do not need to present any proof of income if you are a SASSA grant recipient.
- A completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form should be provided and submitted by all applicants with a disability.
- An applicant identified by the Department of Social Development as a Vulnerable Child must also submit a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form.
NOTE
Considering the financial circumstances involved, you might find applying for financial assistance from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme to be a significant option. It’s crucial for applicants to adhere to the application guidelines and instructions. Failing to do so may result in the rejection of their application.
