Even though the r350 grant has been reinstated under the Social Assistance Act, Brenda Sibeko, the deputy director-general of the Social Development Department, advises that you should only submit one application. Because Sassa will use the information you have provided to determine whether you still qualify for the grant, you should check the Sassa website every three months to see if there are any notifications or questions that need to be answered. As a result, you must confirm your grant application every three months. Reconfirmation should only be used to let Sassa know that you still require the grant. You must update the information in your screening test response if your financial situation changes.
