SUSTAINABILITY TRANSITION CENTRE

Our postgraduate programs in sustainable development are taught at the Sustainability Institute’s Lynedoch Campus. The language of instruction is English.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA

This Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) is a one-year (full-time) or two-year modular (taught) program (part-time). Applications are due by September 30th. Students who have completed the PGDip with an average of at least 65% in each of the eight courses will be eligible to apply for registration in the MPhil in Sustainable Development.

MPHIL IN SUFFICIENT DEVELOPMENT

The MPhil in Sustainable Management is a one-year (full-time) or two-year program that includes a thesis and a minimum of two courses (part-time). Applications are due by September 30th.
PGDip in Sustainable Development is required for admission.
Note: Before beginning the MPhil in Sustainable Development, all students who desire to apply must first complete the PGDip in Sustainable Development. No other degree or qualification will be accepted as a prerequisite for the MPhil.
The MPhil is a multidisciplinary degree program. The coursework curriculum of the PGDip accommodates students with qualifications in many fields and provides them with a strong academic foundation of knowledge and abilities to tackle the thesis-based MPhil with confidence and the best possibility of success.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT DOCTORAL PROGRAMME

Students having a Master’s degree may be eligible to enroll in the Centre for Sustainability Transitions‘ PhD program in Sustainable Development (CST).
