Ikhala TVET College (Ikhala College) was founded on April 1, 2002, by the merger of several previous Technical Colleges. Ikhala College currently serves the communities of the Eastern Cape’s Northern Region through campuses in Aliwal North, Ezibeleni, Queen Nonesi (Lady Frere), Komani, and Sterkspruit.

HOW TO APPLY

Step 1.

  • Determine the course you want to pursue; career counseling is available.

Step 2:

  • Submit an online application for the desired program/course.
  • Please include your application documentation (Certified ID Copy, Results, Next of Kin ID Copy).
  • If your documents are clear and certified, they will be checked and approved; otherwise, they will be rejected if they are not clear or have an outdated date stamp.

Step 3.

  • After each step, you will receive an email informing you of the status of your application.
  • After June 3, 2021, the college will begin the selection process and communicate with you via e-mail about the status of your application.
  • The registration information will be included in the e-mail.

Step 4.

  • If you are admitted, you will be notified via email that you are “Provisionally Accepted,” and you will be required to accept the offer via your Student Portal and print the Enrolment form.

Step 5.

  • Complete the process by visiting the campus and completing your registration.
    When visiting the campus, you must bring the following documentation:
    a certified copy of your identification
  • A certified copy of your parent’s or Next of Kin’s identification
  • Evidence of residency (foreign students)
  • OR certified copies of the highest qualifications
  • Certified copies of the most recent school grades
