Registration deadlines for CPUT

• It would be impossible to register for the 2024 intake before January 2024.

first-year undergraduates:

• Registration will be open online and off-campus beginning January 31 and will continue until February 6, 2024.
  Students who finished their grade 12 exams in 2024 (or earlier) and have received final approval may register to begin in
• February 2024 and continue until February 2024.
• Candidates who passed their Grade 12 final exams in 2024 and are awaiting word:
• The 2024 NSC results will be subjected to a final review (screening) from Thursday, January, to Friday, February 2024. (Potential Alterations) Any obtained NSC results will be compared to the official Department of Basic Education and Training results.
• An automated SMS will be sent to the mobile phone number you provided when submitting your university application to confirm your acceptance.
• Check the website http://www.cput.ac.za/study/track on a regular basis to see if you’ve been accepted. The status is updated whenever a change is made on this website, providing users with the most up-to-date information.
• Remember, you must register within 48 hours of receiving the automated SMS. If you do not, your place may be given to the next deserving student.

returning learners (Returning Undergraduate Studies including Advanced Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma programs)

• Faculty registration deadlines are subject to change (refer to the registration booklet for detailed timelines)
  Beginning in January 2024, registration for classes without financial assistance will be available online and off-campus.
• Students can register for academic programs both on and off campus with online support between January 17 and February 4, 2024.
