How to register CPUT Online 2024-2025

This page will teach you how to register for CPUT Online 2024-2025.

Considerations for Cape Peninsula University of Technology online applications:

• To complete the application, you must have an email address.
• South African applicants must provide an identification number. Foreign applicants will be required to provide their passport numbers.
• All applicants must pay an R80 non-refundable application fee.
• Your deposit slip, along with the other required documents, must be uploaded.

• All applicants must pay an R 120.00 non-refundable application fee (for online applications). To make a deposit, use the following bank information and upload the deposit slip along with the rest of your required documents.

Cape Peninsula University of Technology admissions requirements

When starting a new qualification, applicants must upload all relevant documents, which frequently include:

• a photocopy of your academic transcript (eg Senior Certificate)
• a duplicate of any relevant tertiary academic records (No internet copies will be accepted.)
• a copy of your identification (if you are an RSA student) or your passport (international students)
• a copy of your divorce decree or marriage certificate, whichever is appropriate (if applicable)
• A sworn translation must be provided if a document is not in English or Afrikaans.

Registration Instructions

• Your computer must have both Adobe Acrobat Reader 7 and Internet Explorer 7 or higher. CPUT does not support other browsers for online registration.
• An online registration support document is available for your convenience on our website at http://www.cput.ac.za/sos.

Academic Registrations

Registration will take place only off-campus.

• You can register online using a smartphone, tablet, or computer from the comfort of your own home or any location with an Internet connection.
• Your computer must have both Adobe Acrobat Reader 7 and Internet Explorer 7 or higher. CPUT does not support other browsers for online registration.

Registrations of Residents

• Students who are not enrolled academically will not be able to register for housing. Check out the 2024 registration brochure or contact the residence division for more information on residence registration.
