It’s that time of the year again! UFS online registration is now open for students eager to make the most of their academic year. This year, there have been some changes, so make sure to visit the website for the latest and most accurate details. Ensure a smooth registration process by staying informed about any updates and requirements provided on the UFS website.

Deadlines for UFH Registration Applications

  • Applications are due on September 1 for any University Access Program (UAP) offered on the South Campus and in its surrounding areas.
  • 31 May Biokinetics, Physiotherapy, Optometry, and Occupational Therapy
  • On July 31, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Construction Managers, and Nurses
  • The deadline for international undergraduate applications is August 31.
  • 30 September Applications from transfer students from other tertiary institutions, all non-selection programs, forensic sciences, music, social work, and community development
  • Fine Arts All University Access Programs on the South Campus and in the Neighborhood, November 1–November 30

How to Register for UFS

  • STEP 1: Visit https://www.ufs.ac.za/studyoffer to accept your admission offer.
  • STEP 2: Enter your student ID and password to log into Oracle PeopleSoft.
  • STEP 3: Open PeopleSoft and select the task by navigating to the Tasks tile on the Student Homepage. Under the “Tasks” tile, a task called “Registration 2024” will be accessible.
  • The various tasks listed on the left side of the Student Task WorkCentre page must be completed in order to complete the task in step four. You can log out and log back in again later to carry out the various tasks until the job is finished using the system.
  • STEP 5: Verify that the modules (courses) you want to register for are all listed on your proof of registration. The day after you register, you will receive an email with a link to the Proof of Registration, which is also accessible on the Student Centre page.
