UP online registration dates 2024-2025
This page provides details about the UP online registration dates for the academic year 2024-2025.
Applications for online programs can be submitted at any time throughout the year. There are six start dates for UPOnline programs annually. To be considered for a specific start date, applications must be submitted at least two weeks before that date. Submissions received after this period will be considered for the subsequent start date.
For each online program, only one application is necessary. Upon acceptance into the program, you’ll enroll in your first module. After completing each module, you’ll proceed to sign up for the next one, continuing this process until all required modules are completed.
The processing of applications will be conducted by the respective faculties, departments, and schools.

Because postgraduates are connected to supervisors for postgraduate milestones, this step is crucial! |
This step is necessary if the student hasn’t already chosen a supervisor. Members of the Department work with you on this. |
Module calendar
- Brief modules will be presented over the course of eight weeks. A typical 8-week module includes 7 weeks of instruction and 1 week off.
- Long modules will be presented over the course of 16 weeks. A 16-week module typically consists of 14 weeks of instruction and 2 weeks of break.
- The start date is the first day of your module.
- The payment is due on the first day of the module. If payment is not received by the payment deadline, which is five days after the module start date, access to Blackboard/clickUP is suspended.
- Registration: You must register for each module before the registration deadline. Registration opens a day before the module session begins and closes four weeks before the session begins.
