There are 50 Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges spread across the country, so studying in one is unquestionably worthwhile.

Requirements to study at a TVET college:

Be at least 16 years or older
Have a Grade 9 Qualification or ABET level 4 certificate

Although a grade 9 pass is the absolute minimum qualification for enrollment, certain courses do demand that you have earned a matriculation certificate.

If you prefer practical work to theory, TVET college courses are best. However, some courses combine both practical and academic instruction.
