Courses for Health Professionals

• Several courses are offered by the Wits Clinical Governance Initiative with the goal of teaching and enhancing clinical governance.
• The Wits School of Public Health offers short courses in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Social Behavior Change.

Other courses available

• Numerous short courses are offered by the Centre for Exercise Science and Sports Medicine on subjects like wellness, health promotion, rehabilitation, exercise science, football emergency medicine, sports and exercise cardiology, and sports injuries.
• Many of our postgraduate degrees are offered as part-time, weekday lecture-only programs or as standalone short courses through Wits Enterprise. Others, like the MA in Applied Ethics for Professionals, cater to working people and have lectures on Saturday mornings.
• Some Wits Journalism courses are available as certificates on their own.
