How to Check the Status of Your Wits University 2024 Application

• Regarding your WITS (University of the Witwatersrand) admissions application, have you heard anything? about online tracking and availability of admission application status information Step 1:
• To check the status of your application at the University of the Witwatersrand, go to https://self-service.wits.ac.za (WITS).
  Step 2:
• Choose a year for your application (such as 2024 or 2025).
• Click “Sign in” after providing your User ID and password.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR APPLICATION TO THE WITWATERSRAND UNIVERSITY

• The following documentation is required in order to apply to WITS:
• Application form fully completed, a copy of your ID and a copy of your most recent school year’s results are required. We require a copy of your academic transcript if you have previously attended another higher education institution.
• You must submit your fully filled-out application form along with verification that you have paid the required application fee.
• If you haven’t already graduated, the University of the Witwatersrand offers an online application procedure.
• To submit an online application, go to wits.ac.za/applications.
• You can only apply for three degrees at once (the order of choice does not matter).
• It is suggested that you submit one application to a faculty that is less competitive if you are applying to two programs within the same faculty.
• Keep your options open, especially when applying for degrees in faculties like engineering or the health sciences.
• Foreign applicants must also pay an R700 application fee in addition to the R700 required for South African citizens.
• Additional Forms Do you have any additional criteria for admission to your degree program? Performances, National Benchmark Testing, portfolio and essay submissions, and performances are additional selection criteria for some degrees.
