Auckland Park Theological Seminary 2024-2025

A non-profit organization (NPO) with Public Benefit Organization status (PBO), Auckland Park Theological Seminary (ATS) was founded in 1950 and specializes in theological education, community development, and training.

ATS is a non-denominational organization that works across denominational lines and is recognized as an official training institution by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).

With its certifications, diplomas, Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees as well as entry-level teaching positions in tertiary institutions, ATS is preparing leaders from all academic levels. Additionally, ATS and North-West University are parties to a contract.

The Christian network has been recognized by ATS as a critical component in creating inclusive communities that are peaceful and prosperous for all. This network may be South Africa’s best tool for turning around the country’s current downward spiral of corruption and poverty.

Auckland Park Theological Seminary application fees

  • citizens of South Africa A non-refundable R220 application fee is required for timely applications. Applicants from outside of South Africa must pay R275. Keep in mind that this cost must be paid prior to the application deadline of October 31. A late application fee will cost R440 for South African candidates and R550 for those from outside of South Africa.

  • Before applying, applicants must have completed grade 12. International and transfer students may apply.
