Application fee
- A $100 application fee must be paid, and payment documentation must be attached.

HOW TO APPLY
Step 1: Find a course
To select a course that’s appropriate for you, visit Undergraduate course options or Postgraduate course options. Do not forget to review all of the prerequisites and admission requirements for the course you wish to apply for.
Two specializations are available for the Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Monash Malaysia. The following are registered and authorized course names for these specializations from the Ministry of Education Malaysia:
You will be required to choose a specialization if you are submitting an online application (stream). Please choose Advanced Computer Science as your stream if you intend to apply for the Bachelor of Computer Science degree. Please be aware that the titles of the courses mentioned on your testamur will only be those that have been approved by Malaysia’s Ministry of Education. |
Step 2: Have all relevant documentation and information ready
To apply online, you will need:
- a valid email address
- the application checklist – download and print it out
- information about the courses you want to apply for (course title and course code).
- your academic transcripts in an upload-compatible file format
- evidence that you meet the English language requirements (eg. IELTS test scores) in a file format suitable for upload
- supporting documentation for any request for credit for prior learning, including copies of the subject syllabuses and all official transcripts or academic results from earlier studies in file formats that may be uploaded.
- Monash University Malaysia accepts credit card payments.
- If you don’t have a credit card, you must use a bank draft or check made out to “Monash University Malaysia Sdn Bhd.”
- Please include the student’s name, student ID number, and phone number on the back of the check or bank draft. Cash payments must be made in person at the Finance Unit. Please send your payment and cover sheet to: after printing a cover sheet.

Step 3: Register for a login account and apply online
- Start your application by creating an online account. The application is saved when you finish each page, so you can always log out and come back in to continue.
- You must read the terms and conditions and agree to them in order to successfully submit your application.
Step 4: Track your application online
- Once your application has been filed, you can track it online by signing into your online application account once again.
Step 5: Offer package
Your application will be evaluated by Monash University, and if accepted, you will get an offer package. The supply package contains:
- A letter of offer
- Acceptance documents
- Offer Guide
- International students checklist (if applicable)
Please be aware that Monash may make you a conditional offer if your application is incomplete.
Before the stipulated offer expiration date stated on the letter, you must deliver to the University any missing data or supporting documentation.
Step 6: Apply for a student pass (for all International students)
- Before accepting your offer, make sure the University has received all the complete papers needed for a student pass application. Please see the student pass application for further information.
Step 7: Accept your offer
- Upon receiving your offer from Monash, accept it, and send it together with the necessary fees to:

Step 8: Orientation and school enrolment
- Last but not least, you must arrive on campus in Malaysia in plenty of time for orientation and school enrollment.
